Ruger GP-100 Match vs. GP-100 with 6 inch barrel

owning both, I'll add my 2 cents. The Match Champion is probably the nicest revolver I have ever owned. I traded away a 686 pro series because it wasn't as nice and I just had no use for it anymore. Mechanically, I see no reason why they wouldn't be identically accurate, but you may well shoot...

Does my .45 1911 need a parabellum pal? I think yes

Anyone think there is any possibility of Ruger coming out with a .40 version of this pistol? I would be all over it....

    My Name is Legion

Not to be a killjoy, but I saw from the American Rifleman article that these go for around 1500 dollars... What does it do that my CZ 75 can't do for 600?

Is there anything better than a Smith 686?

To be honest, I own a Smith 686+, a 686 Pro, and I prefer the Ruger Match Champion over both. I think it was cheaper than even the regular 686+ as well.

    M855a1

Most of the newer "high speed" military rounds that are appearing now, like the new 855 and the new Navy round, are basically knock offs of rounds that have been on the civilian market for a long time; for example, the new 855 is so similar to a round manufactured by Liberty Ammunition, that the...

Beretta ARX 100 in 556 NATO design and wear at 500 rounds.

Very thorough and good overview of the rifle.. Honestly it's people like you that make it extraneous and irrelevant to buy gun mags these days... Thank you for putting such effort into this post!

    Mini 14 Feedback

I have one of the new mini tacticals. The fit and finish is good, it is a very nice and well built rifle.. I don't have too many rounds through it because I shipped overseas shortly after getting it, but it was 100% reliable for the few hundred rounds that I put through it.. As far as accuracy...

    I wish someone would make . . .

I own an eaa witness elite match and it is seriously the nicest gun I have ever touched. The trigger is utterly impeccable, the slide feels like it is on ball bearings, the fit and finish are top notch.. It is really almost too good to put into words. The gun started my love affair with 10mm...

I would lose my... Stuff.... Over a 10mm m1 carbine clone

    I wish someone would make . . .

I think a 10 shot .327 magnum built on a redhawk frame and a lever action chambered in the same would be really cool. Also, just a good inexpensive bolt action with good iron sights? Also, some kind of bolt action .44 magnum that doesn't have as restrictive OAL limits as the Ruger offerings...

    Question about 9mm revolvers

Why not? It just looks like a fun little gun, and I have way too many other guys that I consider to be more practical to carry

    Question about 9mm revolvers

Or I guess more specifically, reloading for one. I am looking at the new 9mm LCR, but for me it would likely just be a range gun. This got me wondering, would it be bad for the gun to load up some wadcutter bullets for a .38 in a 9mm casing and fire them? I know there is a diameter difference...

I would love to see a light for caliber .44 Magnum loaded for max velocity fired from a carbine...

Let your voice be heard S&W SD9VE owners

I own one... When I first got it the trigger was a little bit heavy to be comfortable for me, but spend like $20 for the apex trigger kit, and it will become a fantastic shooter! The trigger once fixed is extremely nice, it is an accurate and absolutely (in my about 1500 rounds of experience)...
