I agree with most. I'd give him one and go shoot it with him. If it's his first gun or first hand gun it wouldn't hurt to show him some gun safety and importance of proper storage if he has kids in the house.

I carry a Ruger 380 auto. I also have a small 38 revolver I carry from time to time. I like revolvers a bit better because they're more reliable but of coarse a semi gets more rounds off quicker. I'd probably go with a revolver. Always reliable, no jams or stove pipes. I'd go with a 38. They got...
