I see them mostly in the rural areas of NC, SC, TN and VA. Hardly ever see a longarm in one unless there is a hunting season in. I see a lot of them holding borken down spinning and fly rods up in the hills though. I see quite a few holding canes. I have a quick remove set in my pickup for two...
I own a few Emerson knives. Two of them have been used for EDC off and on for years. I would recomend one to anyone who really wants/needs a top quality folder for EDC. The two I carry are the Mini Commander and a CQC-14 Snubby for times when a knife with a sub 3" blade is required.

I have a Ruger 77/44 stainless. It shoots factory American Eagle 240gr JHP into groups less than 2" @ 100 yards. It has also put a few deer on the ground. It makes a fine deer rifle if you like to go to the deer instead of setting in a tree hoping one will walk by. I put a 4x shotgun scope on...
I have an older blued & wood stocked Papoose. The one I have is reliable and more than accurate enough to take small game and have fun plinking with.

Cabela's Elk Hunter 8" boot. Its made by Danner here in the USA. It has Gore-Tex and 400 grams of Thinsulate. It is also a great wearing and long lasting boot...

Well when you are batting .666% with two of the last three handguns being introduced being recalled, folks tend to take notice and remember. Lets just hope the folks at Ruger were taking notes as well as the gun buying public was.

Corrcet me if I am wrong but I recall Ruger making a run of blued Security Sixes for the FBI also. They had larger than the normal wooden grips with a small cut out on the bottom so you could still see the serial number on the bottom of the grip frame.

Contact Savage directly. I know for a fact that you could at one time order one through the custom shop. I lost out bidding on one of these on Gunbroker a while back. IIRC the price hovered around $750.
To the OP you should have many years of great service out of LH MKII, I have a pre...
Security Six, I have been shooting the same 4" blued one since I was 18 I am now 37. It has fired tens of thousands of rounds with out a hitch. It is still a great all around handgun. It takes care of plinking, hunting, woods bumming and home/self defense chores with ease.
