    S&W 627 PC 5" versus V-comp

At this time I'm going to start thinking the only one who owned or shot both was the great master, Mr,. Jerry Miculek in person...

    S&W 627 PC 5" versus V-comp

Jim G, no, it would definitely be not for carrying, but I bet it would ensure a lot of real target practice. Also, for (home) self defense the 627-Pc no-comp would probably be better off, no flashes Its only drawback is that it doesn't come cheap at all :(

    Non-Fluted Cylinders...

Personally, I love unfluted cylinders, that's just a visual thing though. It also makes the cleaning easier.

    S&W 627 PC 5" versus V-comp

Clem, actually after my latest session at the range I'm more and more convinced about keeping it. I'll avoid any possible occurance of the seller's remorse. And since I like it so much, I wouldn't mind a second, slightly different one. Just wondering if the difference in shooting would be...

    S&W 627 PC 5" versus V-comp

Anyone out there shot both? Impressions? I've a S&W 627 PC, would like a 627 PC V-comp, undeciuded wether trading out or keeping both. The regular 627 PC is real good.

    SW 627 PC 5" versus V-comp

Hi all, has anyone of you guys had the occasion to shoot either the S&W 627 PC 5" and the S&W 627 PC 5" with a V-comp? What's the difference? Do you feel a noticeable benefit from the V-comp? Does it affect your groupings very favourably? Or just good for fast shooting? I own a S&W 627 PC...

    (relatively) Lightweight pump action

Hatsan pumps are getting popular here in Italy. The speed pump I believe is used by Patrick flanigan in his 'acrobatic' displays. That's sure good ad for the gun, even though the man is definitily a fluke. I'm just going to go to the gunstore and enquire about the speedpump, prices and...

    (relatively) Lightweight pump action

Hi all, I'm about to buy my 1st pump shotgun, I've tried a couple at the gunstore, but I realized I'd like something not too heavy, I'll use it for HD but I'd like to have some fun with it shooting clays or similar. I'd also like to train my wife to use it in case of emergency. Benelli M3...

    Paint on revolver sights....

Also, in his DVD "ultimate advanced revolver", Jerry Miculek, the fastest gunslinger on earth, shows how he likes the upper edge of the rear sight painted white, he says he can't acquire the target very well without it. In the DVD he used a gold bead as sm was saying. In a more recent...

    S & W 627 .357 8-times

Worth the money? Definitely How it shoots? I refer to my 5" barrrel 627 PC. Trigger is superb, right out of the box, just as advertised. People get awed when they try it out. Very good for double action, as a matter of fact I forgot how to shoot single action. Superlative for staging...

    Smith&Wesson Model 627 8-shot

I'd like to correct a serious mistake of mine, I told I only shoot in SA, it's the other way around, I shoot in DA exclusively, more gun control, allows you rapid fire and more. Plus you always can stage the trigger, and with the 627 PC that's the easiest thing to do!

    Tips for Lefties?

That's is the way I do it as well, except with moonclips it's maybe easier. I agree with those who say a leftie and everyone else should learn to shoot left- and righthandedly indifferently. What if your finger trigger or strong hand gets injured??

    Smith&Wesson Model 627 8-shot

The reloads I tried so far in 38 sp (the ones in the picture 2 posts ago) are 158 grs hard-cast SWCs with 5.3 to 5.6 grs Vithavuori N340. Works pretty good. Should hit the 125 PF never cronographed it though. Solo powder is not easily available here. Did you do your own trigger job by...
