SP101 is a sturdy, quality design, no doubt. But I would have a hard time paying that much for a .22.

Dry firing a centerfire is a heck of a lot easier on the gun than actually shooting it. As for rimfires, I've always used #4 wall anchors. They even cycle like .22s.

Really? Unless it's a ridiculously rare model, which it doesn't look to be, it's worth nowhere near $450. I just bought a Soviet 91/30 for $84 out the door, and that was even a hex receiver.
I'm 24, and if it weren't for my receding hairline I bet that I'd be treated a lot more poorly in gun shops. But I know exactly what you're talking about. Go in with a scowl, that helps. Never let the old man behind the counter out-scowl you. Strange, but it works.
I know there's a duty to inform LEOs in OK, but I didn't think there was a duty to inform anyone not carrying a badge, regardless of who owns the property.
