Anyone who wants to "stay the course" or wants more troops in Iraq is not going to win. As far as I know, only one Republican candidate doesn't want to "stay the course." But, apparently the Repubs have forgotten why they were punished in the last elections, and will continue to be punished...

The damn thing got away from me, bit me pretty hard and deep. Bled like hell. I put some of that commercial version of quick clot on my thumb so I should be okay. Now..how the hell do I work this thing without getting mauled?

I wish there was an option on the ballot for "none of the above." Then if a majority chose that, these people could never run again for that office.

Why should people who don't agree with the NICS in the first place support the NRA trying to add more crap to it? And don't say it could be worse. The NRA is the one who took this misguided iniative. They could have just as easily sat there and done nothing. No gun control could've passed...

We are making progress, but not much, legislatively at the federal level. You had all best donate to the Second Amendment Foundation and support their work on Parker. This is the last real chance for any change in this country.

I'm sure I'll be flamed for "not taking the high road" (AKA disagreeing with the pro gun-control opinions around here). Not exactly related to the topic, but relevant for current events and the latest posts in this topic: It would've been better had the NRA just sat down and done nothing...
