If its looks good, $400 seems ok. Just sold mine a few months back for $500. Buyer had no problem with the price and mine didn't have a box either. It was in excellent shape and wasn't shot to often.

Have had the 8 3/8" barrel for a few years and haven't been sorry. Its accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. Have only been loading the 350 XTP's but picked up some 500 XTP's. The Barnes 275's really look awsome! Deadly on deer and plan on taking it out west for elk next year.

Hey DD Are you gonna hunting with the .44? Have a 629 in 6" and its a great gun, but you can really load the Ruger Super Redhawks/Blackhawks with some ground pounder loads. I've shot more deer with my Ruger SB than any other. If you can find a used Dan Wesson .44 mag in the same price...
