The Redball .45acp mag is single feed double stack. If you go on the Hi Point forums you can find out how to tweak the lips on it to run 10mm. Not something I've ever tried, I don't own anything in 10mm, but it might be worth checking out for you.
I love mine. If I pick up my brass it has a dent in it. Not sure if that is common or not with these. Just something to watch for if you're a reloader.
In the long run it also costs good paying jobs. I don't know what Benchmade pays or what benefits that they offer, but I strongly suspect that working in a factory that makes high quality knives to exact standards pays a lot more than flipping burgers. Trying to compete with the cost of Chinese...
Love that OP! I had one with about the same set-up in the 80s, but yours looks to be a lot better example, and some of the early Japenese stuff was of decent of better quality.

It would be fun, but before spending the money on one I would just get a .460 Rowland conversation for my 1911. Especially if I’m just gonna shoot a deer with it at 50yds.
It's a good rifle. Enjoy it put some squirrels in the pot with it, and make some memories with it. I've had a few and they are nothing fancy and nothing special, but there sure isn't anything wrong with them.
