I would stick with Smith or Ruger. Used and if you want to save keep in mind that good function is more important than a mint finish. I would be looking for an older Smith(maybe blue finish) that has some bluing wear but has a tight lockup and a good bore. I'd also avoid the lower end American...
I bought a 327PC last month. Exactly one week later it was on its way to Smith for repair. The titanium barrel shroud became loose. It apparently wasn't properly fitted or inspected before leaving the factory. Shouldn't happen to any revolver coming from S&W especially one from their performance...
Doesn't look like q good fit. If you got it from the Tyler site, I would call them and tell them it's not fitting properly. They are nice people and I'm sure they will make it right.
Colt DS
I had mine bobbed. I didn't like it. I had to find someone who had a hammer for sale. My DS now is back to its original look. Someone else posted you should find a bobbed hammer for sale. That's good advice. Then if you change your mind you can always swap the hammers out.
pocket holsters
I have a Galco pocket holster for my S&W 640. Works great and its not a lot of money. I also have a couple of pocket holsters from PCS. They are for small semi's and they are also top shelf
Model 21
Well for the heck of it I thought Id try some Aguila hyper velocity ammo in my 21. N.G. Jams, jams, jams. I should have stuck to the tried and true, Stingers and Mini Mags. Oh well, live and learn. Next range date its back to the CCI. They work!
Beretta 21
Up to over 1000 rounds in mine. Except the first time out with Remington its been 100%. It is rock solid with Stingers(or Mini Mags). I prefer Stingers.
S&W
Its the stainless steel 640. Before this was an approved weapon they had approved another model(possibly the 60). Some of the revolvers developed cracks and they were taken off the approved list. Past ten years or so they only authorize semi auto 9mm. For the more senior members its...
S&W
I carry a S&W Centennial for the last twenty years. Its my authorized off duty weapon. It doesn't say .38 +P on the barrel. Just .38 S&W Special. I have fired nothing but +P thru it since day one. Originally 158 grain semi wadcutters. Now only 135 grain Gold Dots. Has gone bang each and...
336
I haven't measured the barrel. I thought it was 20" The stock isn't that large but as I don't have another 336 to compare it to I wouldn't know if its an overall length the same or shorter than other models.
336
Well it aint in the old west and it sure isn't Texas. Lol. Lets just say its a large city in the north east(very large) and in the city limits you need a rifle/shotgun permit. As far as the rifle I know the year it was manufactured but Im unsure of what type or wood the stocks are. Not sure...
