Truth told, on a thin profile barrel, there isn't much loss of accuracy between the 14.5 length and the 16 length....Mine currently has the 14.5 with a YHM "Phantom" flash hider permanently attached. Still gives good accuracy out to 250.

the new "post ban" variants are cheap...$250-300 new. the pre ban ones (open bolt firing) command a far higher price due to the relative ease of conversion. check gunbroker.com if a new model is what you're after.
