Uh, yes there is. Several in fact. No slam on the Ruger, but there are better.

Springfield Armory has the XDS-s that is very compact, one of the thinnest ever.

I can tell you about my Überti El Patron in .357. It is an excellent SAA clone. Very well made with superb fit and finish. Mine is in stainless and there are no tool marks and polished perfectly. The accuracy is also very good for a short barreled, fixed sighted revolver. I love mine.

I like the Ruger better for my tastes, but those are two absolutely equal guns and it comes down to personal preference, nothing more.

Sig hands down. It will last you a lifetime. The HiPoint will make an excellent paper weight. Maybe you could throw it at a bad guy's head......:evil:

I would not want to be shot with anything, including a .177 pellet gun That being said, I'd much prefer to take my chances with the .45 rather than the .223.
