Has the slide release (slide stop in Glock speak) been removed recently. the spring must be under the top pin to have tension and work correctly. Easy way to check is with an empty gun hold the slide to the rear and you should be able to lift it with your thumb and it should return with some...
1st Mag springs
2nd May not hurt to check Recoil spring as well, I put this second because the recoil springs usually last pretty well in the mini & Gen4 Glocks.
To put into a crude simple example:
The fast slide speed of the mini Glocks requires the mag spring push the next round up...
I'm just guessing, but a higher bore axis & heavier weight?? :neener:
Sorry just poking fun, there isn't anything wrong with and XD different strokes for folks etc.
One persons way of re-holstering may not be like the others. AD/ND's still happen for both methods if the brain, the No1 safety is disengaged...no matter how you re-holster.
One thing about a Glock. 1st thing you do when you draw a gun is 1- acquire a firm grip. This disengages one of the...
I have bought them in the past.
I replaced the springs & followers (they were the older style follower). By the time I done the springs & followers I could have bought new from my local gun shop.
The mags were in good shape and didn't have any defects, Glock mags esp are pretty tough.
I have had glasses for as long as I can remember. I use contacts and glasses when giving my eyes a break from the contacts.
Lately the glasses help me with long rifles & iron sights. I have no definite answers but it seems the glasses help me to keep the same cheek weld, where contacts...
If it were a 5 round difference I would jump ship.
I am in no way scared of 9mm placement & speed to me is the number 1 deciding factor.
I use 40 cause that's what we are issued, common ammo common training same mags etc. If we were issued 9mm I wouldn't be upset either way. OTH I don't...
I have looked for one for a long long time. I never found one (they do have a 20ga model like that though no screw in chokes). I almost bought a security barrel and had a smith weld on some sights, but I bought a 590 w/ ghost rings instead.
It's frustrating because it seems you can find...
Glock originally designed it as a "slide stop" not a release. It's very low profile and snag free, you can use it as a release it's just more difficult.
Later on IRRC it was the King of Jordan wanted a bump added to the release. Jordan was willing to pay good money to have them added so...
I was one of the lucky ones. I managed a 91prefix "JM" stamped 336BL. Here are some groups from my Marlin 336BL w/ factory ammo. 6" orange dot 1st day to the range open sights at 100yards rested across the hood of my Chevy.*Fly on the upper left for size comparison.
BTW- I am really...
I feel you pain. I'm a lefty as well.
I recently found the greatness of Lever action rifles...the Marlin 336BL it short and compact also they have a 336Y which is shorter yet.
The Ruger Scout is tempting, in Left handed configuration. There are a few Savage rifles made in Lefty. Some AR15...
I have the same problem with the grip. I just knuckeled under-pun intended-and waited for a calous, altho if I shoot more then 150 or so rounds I use a band aid on my finger.
I have seen many grip mods on the interweb tho and it should be the same color all the way through. I myself have...
