The great C&R debate. I still think I'm right.

Maryland does NOT recognize a C&R item or a C&R license in any way, shape, or form. Really? Could you show me the MD law that says this? In other words, for regulated firearms, the C&R license is useless. Why? You can still acquire them. Just not transfer them in state. There are semi-auto's...

Garland Public Shooting Range in danger

When the city annexed the land they "grandfathered" the range as a "legal, non conforming, land use". Sounds like they re-zoned it when the land was annexed. They tried that crap on us last year. Most club members saw it for what it was: An attempt to close the range (now the noise complaints...

    AIM Ishapore

These are not Holy Relics to be worshipped. If he wants to re-finish it, so be it. Anyway, his sounds like mine. That paint he took off was most definitetly not a "working" finish. It was gooped on so thick as to immobilize the rear sight and, in my case, the bolt. On mine the "original"...

    Species of Mosin Nagants

Surplusrifle.com Surplusrifle is another good site. They have a forum with specific gun areas. What do you want to know? It's a used gun. Check it out well before you buy it and/or fire it. The Soviet one's are least expensive, the Finn's more so, but are better shooters. 91/30's are...

    Sauer & Sohn K48 Mauser

German Army K98k. Good price if it does have the acceptance marks un-molested. They usually trade in the 300's on up from what I have seen. Good info here: http://www.surplusrifle.com/ That same sites forums. There is a German military rifle specific section...

Samco K31 now in the inventory.

Yes, you need an FFL of some type, or find a local one to do the transfer for you. There are lists of C&R rifle dealers that have been posted here. In case you are interested in what is out there.

    FFL Transfer fee

If you are buying a gun from an FFL, all Fed and State laws apply, gunshow or not. A lot of States don't care if individuals buy/sell guns to other individuals. It is personal property being bought/sold. None of the States business. My State of Maryland is not an example of this as all...

    Get your M1 Carbines

03's and 03A3's are in also. They are $500 for a shooter. Less for low serial number non-shooters. I would expect the carbines to go for no less. I am sure they will auction any really good ones off for mega-bucks*. No more getting real jewels by luck of the draw. *Of course that money is...

Full auto weapons in the US

Short answer: Tax is $200. A pittance. In 1986 it was made illegal to register a new machinegun to a civillian. So we are stuck with whatever was registered before then. Supply and demand.
