Federal primers are one of the softest from what I have read.The size is the same as others.I have read that wolf have a larger O.D. Make sure the primer pockets aren't full of crap.

4gr. of 700x is my daughter's favorite load.It's nice and soft I like it to for a change of pace.

I load my Hornady XTP 230gr.JHP to an oal of 1.230 per the Hornady book in my 1911 and it run's fine.

Work's great in my 1911.I load 3.8gr. with a 185gr. lswc for my daughter she can shoot all day.I tried it and it's a nice change.

I keep my 1911 the same as most of you cocked and locked next to my flashlight.My kid's are all gone but one and she's a shooter.

I bought one about 2yr. ago it's a fun gun. Never any trouble with it and it seems to like any ammo i feed it.I can't say it's a target gun but it's a fun gun to chase squirrels with.
