If you can afford the rock chucker kit go for it I started out with a cheap kit and it wasn't long before I moved up to the rock chucker if you are only planing on having one single stage press go with the best.
All the stevens 200 is the pre accutrigger package guns without the scope and hard case which was the 110 model and the early 110 models was both short action and long action they just changed the reciever and stock and put the stevens name on the bolt. And like I said I think savage should know...
This is nice to know I guess somebody here knows more then savage does there self because when I called and talked to them they said that they used the old 110 rifle and changed the reciever to the new rounded accutrigger reciever but just don't use the accutrigger so they could keep the cost...
They are the same gun as the old 110 that came in the package these are the pre accutrigger guns which was the 110 model the early 110 model's came in long action or short action. No you do not get a scope. The stevens is a much better gun then the Remington 710.
these are very good rifles I have 3 of them one in 223,22-250 and 300 win mag they shoot very well they are the old savage 110 package guns and they are very accurate just like the savage I don't think you could go wrong for the money.
