hey everyone I received,a few months,ago a Rossi model 59 in 22 mag.and I was wondering is there any way to mount a scope to it? or should I love it for what it is,a quick shooting, snake blastin',handy little gun?scope i'm trying to mount is a 1972 weaver k4 with a fine crosshair reticle.

it's hard to beat a Bushnell Trophy XLT 3-9X40.but then again I'm a little biased.all but two of my rifles have bushnells.one has a redfield and the other has open sights.i guess between the two you listed I would go for the Nikon.

Well I have narrowed it down to two 300 win.mags.If I get a 300 WIN MAG I will either get a Ruger 77 hawkeye or a Savage 111 trophy hunter(I would replace the scope).Notice I said "IF I get a 300 win.mag". I am also considering a 300 WSM. If I get the 300 wsm I'll get a tikka t3 lite stainless...

I've been looking at some replacement stocks for a left handed savage 116.I have found one I really like it's a boyds but the stock says it's for a drop box mag and the rifle has a hinged floorplate.so do yall think that that stock would work or should I just keep looking?

eastbank that is a beautiful rifle.where did you find a left handed model 70?the only reason I didn't make mention in my post about a model 70 is because they didn't come left handed.

Well,after looking at the price of 45 lc ammo and seeing the posts on my last thread I don't think I want a 45 lc.So my new question is;could a rifle like a handi-rifle,rossi singleshot,cva scout or even a rossi 92 chambered in 44 mag,handle the higher pressures generated by buffalo bore loads?
