Foreign Gun Owners(outside US members)...Show your stuff...

Wonderful! Just thought I'd pop my head in here and say how wonderful it is to hear from our neighbors across the pond and beyond. Often times, we have many misconceptions about gun ownership in other countries. Thanks for the lesson guys! Keep it up!:)

Shooting range turned me away - said i'm a suicide risk!

For those confused about how someone would want to kill them selves while living in Montana - remember that the entire eastern half of the state is more like North Dakota than anything else. (It's still really sad)

    A day at the range....AGGHHHHH

Well... You should find yourself a new range. I find that the extra 30 minutes and gas money more than make up for the quiet time I get when I'm out by myself. Also, give us our basketball team back.:neener:

Have you ever had a gun dream?

The only dreams I have about guns revolve around strange Dr. Seuss drawings where I am the 308 round slowly circling out the front end of a rifle barrel. I'm clean and sober, honest!

Shot Fired at Music Festival - Another "What Would You Do" Thread

And ya know what? Not only do I feel bad for those people who got hit/traumatized... but I also feel bad for the firearms community at large. When these kinds of stories hit the main press, they give all gun owners a bad name. Many people who I work with here in Seattle are very quick to lump...

Shot Fired at Music Festival - Another "What Would You Do" Thread

My wife was there as well. She usually carries, but told me that there would be no need for that because people who go to folk life festivals are not violent. I tried to argue with her, but to no avail. I dropped it. Lucky for me she was not hurt. She heard the shot and ran just like...

Member learns valuable lesson after range accident results in injury

Alright... I'll drag out my hot casing story... My brother was shooting his new Bushmaster, and I was about 15 feet behind him turned the opposite direction, bending over getting something or another. Anyways, you see where this going... the hot case flew back from the AR, and straight...

Who else goes to the range alone?

For me - the range is a place where I can be by myself with my thoughts. I'm able to forget things that wear me down and just relax and think about the mechanics of shooting. Personally, I love shooting by myself, but today I took my wife with me to the range. She just got a 22. revolver as...

Favorite and least favortie gun shops

I thought that I'd contribute to this thread, as I just had a very positive experience at Wades guns in Bellevue WA. Long story short, I ordered a shotgun from them middle of March. It was an 870 super turkey magnum. Ran me around 400 bucks with tax. I call every week to see if the gun has...

Gun Safety taught in My Daughter's Elementary School

This might sound kind of silly and/or off topic... but I'll tell the story anyways. For four months out of the year, I work with a touring opera company that goes to elementary schools and gives 45 minute presentations of operas for children. This year, the show was the daughter of the...

    Where to buy a Saiga 7.62 X 39 AK???

I'll echo in and ask... where did you get your Saiga conversion kit and rifle? I'm asking different people where they got their stuff - I'm trying to find the best deal/best experience before I buy. Thanks all!

What gun is in your nightstand?

Semi Compact Baby Desert Eagle loaded up with the 9mm Black Tallons (15 and than another clip with 15). 870 by my side as well. The wife has a Taurus 22 revolver in her night stand

    Unusual LEO sidearms?

Color me ignorant... but what's so strange about carrying a Baby Eagle for a daily carry? Is it the weight that's the problem?

    Nit-picking Col. Cooper's Third Rule

I keep my finger flat against the frame when not on the trigger. There's this great place on my Baby Eagle that my finger just slides onto.
