If you can't get actual CCI 22LR, you can spend the money to get the next best thing (evidently others are):

FWIW:
I just gave away about 300 + rounds of 22LR this weekend to some worthy friends in need.
All of it was actually purchased in the past 2 weeks at normal pricing (at LGS's)
That is NOTHING to feel guilty about. I would not even attempt to call that hoarding.
That's what I'd consider "loose ammo"....like "Loose change" in your pocket.
Get to buying some real quantities ;-) !!!!
Of course when DHS buys them, they are no longer A.W.'s = they suddenly morf into "Self-Defense" rifles.

The site was still taking orders when it went out of stock (due to a glitch).
Some got in on that, but its back-ordered.
At that price, its still worth a "reasonable wait", for a BO (as long as you have got some other 22LR on hand).
A good defense lawyer, could also point out that the threat was NOT gone, when the perp. attempted to move away from the line of fire.
Simply moving away from the line of fire cannot be constituted as "fleeing". He also still had a firearm (weapon) in his hand = an active threat...
