    taurus revolvers?

I bought the model 85 ultralite .38 in stainless back in Nov. Love it. Very concealable and weighs 16oz. Have run >100 rounds thru it w/ zero complaints. Taurus does a good job w/ revolvers...I have never owned one of their autos.

Tell Me About the Taurus 85

Taurus 851 Ultralite Bought the 851UL in Nov 2007 and it is a fine weapon. 16.5 ounce weight. Very concealable. Shoots .38 cal a bit low and to the left at 15 yards but in a confrontation the range will be far closer. I have only fired a 50 round box thru it but it sent them all down range.

    Taurus snubby

Bought a Taurus 851 .38 Special snubby back in Nov. & finally took it to the Sherriffs office range yesterday. I liked it for the 16.8 oz. lite weight & stainless appearance & concealability & $400 price tag. The consensus here seems to be w/ Taurus you either get a stud or a dud so I was a...

What do you think of Taurus guns

Recently bought the ultralite .38 special w/ concealed hammer and it works great. Shot 1 box thru it and no malfunctions. Price is right and my confidence factor is high.

What would you clean it with

In vietnam we used kerosine or J-2 [helicopter fuel] to disolve rust, then rub on solvent, & then apply gun oil.

HI Point Firearms what does anyone know about these

I got a HiPoint 9mm pistol from my brothers estate among other things & guess what? It works like a champ. Here's the deal. It looks like the real thing but like the above post it feels like a brick. Very heavy. I would not want to carry this thing concealed. It is kind of fun to shoot at the...

Which 9mm would you buy first?

The BHP w/ a full mag is perfectly balanced in your hand. A beautiful wooden checked grip is available. It is very easily concealed. My favorite 9mm. good luck on your choice Sir.

    Browning Hi-Power 9mm

Great pistol My Browning Hi Power is my favorite.....15 years old w/ the checked wooden grips. Some feel it looks a little clunky but to me it is sweet. Perfectly balanced, shoots nice groups, never a failure. Congratulations Sir.

how to get rid of rust??

To remove rust apply kerosine & scrub w/a wire brush or steel wool and then clean w/ solvent & apply gun oil. Old time recipe but it works beutifully...rust cn be a problem here in the deep south.
