I recently purchased a Little Dandy powder measure. The hopper doesn't appear to be attached to the rest of the measure in any way and is quite loose. Is it supposed to just sit on the top. It looks like if I were to pick it up by the hopper I would end up with a lot of powder on the ground...

Yeah, thats what they look like. Cheerios. I don't see how any trail boss could get mixed in either. Perhaps this is something I should call them on. I thought for sure someone would tell me that yes indeed this is how Clays should look.

I noticed this morning when I opened my first pound of Hodgdon clays that some of the flakes of powder had little holes through the center, but most did not. Is this normal? I just want to make sure I didn't get a bad or contaminated batch. Thanks!
