    Smith & Wesson hammer question...

No, but I do have a complete hammer with a free floating firing pin. I guess I could just install it and see if it works.

    Smith & Wesson hammer question...

It's a 65-5 and it came with and still has a spring loaded firing pin type hammer. The checkered portion where your thumb would depress it has a gouge in one side of it so I'm looking to replace the whole hammer but I'm wondering if I can use a hammer that has a free floating firing pin.

    Kimber barrels rusting easily

I have a few 1911's and take care of them all the same and the Kimber barrel is the only one that has developed rust spots.

    Smith & Wesson hammer question...

I have a K frame that originally came with a spring loaded hammer nose and the only replacement I can find is a non spring loaded hammer. Are they interchangeable? I would imagine so otherwise I would have heard about different versions of frames. Anybody know for sure?

    Sig 1911 trigger

This is why I haven't picked up a Sig 1911. They triggers on every one I've ever fondled just felt numb to me. Too much take up and not much warning before it actually breaks.

    Walther PPQ

I'm in the market for one right now but the only one I can find is a First Edition model and I can't see spending the extra $190 for a threaded barrel that I won't use and night sights that from what I hear are mediocre at best. Now if I planned on picking up a suppressor in the future it would...

Why do "Home Defense" guns feel so junky?

I love the Benelli SuperNova Tactical. Nice fit and finish, good looks and you're 18" barrel.

    My Kimber Solo

Looks good. Now you just need to get those warning labels off of it.

    kel-tec pf-9 belt clip

If it doesn't work out for you, I use a cheap Uncle Mike's nylon IWB hoslter (less than $10.00) and it works awesome for my PF-9. Just another option.

I Think This is A Trap or Setup

Just buy the gun for yourself, then you're in the clear.
