Did they perform well? Yes, I would check my brass but that is down my list of concerns. Seems like your SIG may need a bit hotter of a load or a different powder. Nothing I would be worried about if the round performed as it should.

The HP bullets may be too short for the magazine and causing your issue. If it runs fine with ball ammo, then you could look at putting a spacer in the rear of the magazine if you are determined to shoot HP out of it. May also want to check your spring tension and a few other magazines to see...
