    W 231

I just opened my last 8 pounder of H335 last month and finished it last week. It still had the $97 price tag on it. Been crying ever since as I think about replacing it. Still have an 8lb keg of W231 to open.

Suggestions for a pocket sized .380

I have a .380 Bodyguard. The safety is not difficult to use and I find it unnecessary. The trigger pull is heavy and very long. Being double action only it will not go off without a very deliberate trigger pull.

School me on the T/C Contender?

As others have said its a great platform. I shot my way into International level in IHMSA production class with a 10" 7mm TCU. Also have a 10" 22lr and a 14" 30-30 barrel that J.D. Jones re chambered to 309 JDJ for me.

    Which Tumbler and why?

My Ultra Vibe lasted over twenty years and tens of thousands of cases before the motor quit. Nice unit.

    642 Club Part Three

I hate to admit that after having my 642 laying for ...."a while"..... I finally got a chance to shoot it. Way more enjoyable to shoot than I expected!

What reloading press do you use??

I have used Lyman and Hornady in the past, but now I use a RCBS Chucker for special projects and my Dillon 550B for everything else. I wouldn't trade the Dillon for anything.

    How clean is clean enough?

I like shiny cases too. I use an Ultra-Vibe (been looking at one of Dillon's) that I've had for 20 years with corn cob media and a cap full or two of polish. If they are real discolored I use ISSO cleaner followed by a rinse in water. To dry them I use the rack that came with our dyer for...

    Pre-Priming Brass

I prime all my rifle brass ahead of time and store it in sealed ammo cans. That way when I want to try a new load I just weigh out the powder, seat the bullet and go testing. Been doing this for years......

    642 Club Part Three

Thanks for the welcome! 308win, I'm sorry to say we didn't get that far. They were so busy that by the time my brother and I got to talk to a salesman and picked out our pistols, we were on a time crunch and had to head home. The Fin is about 1 1/2 hrs for me, but always worth the drive...

    642 Club Part Three

I just purchased my first snub yesterday. The Fin had a great price ($349 / $299 after rebate) and I just couldn't pass it up. I've looked at these for awhile as an alternative to my XD sub. I can't wait to get to the range and try it out!
