    What is your favorite gun-related smell?

    My favorite smell is that of rotten putrid flesh of a dead animal that I've shot that was so far away...how far do you ask?....so far that it rotted before I could run over there! How's that fer a long range shot, and oh..did I mention that it was at night?:neener:

    Wood bullet?

    paper to wood My collection includes two boxes marked "U.S. Army .30 Government Training' chambered for the 30-40 krag. Both boxes are Krag rounds with formed PAPER bullets! Kinda unusual. I guess the progression was to wooden projectiles for uniformity and more "ouch".?:rolleyes:

    My first experience with earplugs was the remains of two camel cig's that I shoved into my ears while on tank ranges. They kinda worked. sorry, gotta go,,the phone's ringing and somebody's at the door.:D
