    Removefront sight from an IAC/Norinco 982?

    Have a beat up IAC/Norinco Hawk 982 870 clone that came with ghost ring sights. I'd like to knock off the front sight post so I can install a bead, but can't dig up what method they used to attach it. Anyone know? The gun in question, though it's got more miles on it now.
