Tap, Rack, Bang Equivalent for Revolvers? Clearing a Revolver Jam Fast?

a firearm is a tool - nothing more I have been shooting revolvers since 1969 and 1911's since before that. I must admit, I have been reloading my own ammo since before Ms. Clinton was appointed to the White House the first time. In all that time, I have had more fail to feeds / fail to fires...

Smart Guns and problems with carry outside the home

Secret Service Detail should test it I concur with the postings of most of the previous responders...the idea should be proven beyond all doubts by using the Presidential Secret Service Detail(s) as the test bed for discovering and eliminating all issues associated with smart gun technology...

    Special request, Lightest .38 load

Competition and 125 gr Bullets Forgot to add in my previous response that Competition loaded at the lowest level with 125 gr plated bullets would do the trick for you; in my opinion, you should try whatever powder you have at the lowest level for the bullets you have available and experiment...

    Special request, Lightest .38 load

Try Competion Although it is not listed as one of the powders you have available, attempt to locate some Competition powder. My wife had the same problem shooting her S&W airweight. Once I loaded it with Comp at 3.2 grains she could target shoot with it (50 rounds) with no problem.

First allow me to say I am an old man that grew up during the 50’s, became a man during the 60’s and went to war during the same decade. I grew up hunting because it was necessary to help feed the family. We were poor and could ill afford the ability to buy meat from the local grocery. I...

Guns are the "tools of the weak"

equalizers were within the scheme of things The Bible says God gave Man dominion over the Earth and all things upon it. He further ensured that Man would have the ability to exercise that dominion and to protect himself by giving Man the ability to reason and, in their minds, develop weapons...

    Shimmed Scope mount-need input

I recently purchased a Browning Hi-Power Rifle made in late 60's (Sako Made). The rifle had Weaver Medium mounts already installed with what appears to be about 0.010" of shims beneath the front mount for the scope. I had a Nikon Monarch scope installed on the rifle and when trying to zero...

Don't know about the 168 gr; but, have shot quite a few of their 145gr FMJBT 30 cal through my 30-06. Before I loaded any;out of curiosity, I measured each one of them for OAL deviation and weighed each one for weight deviation, separating them into groups. Ended up with two groups. The...
