    How did THR become irrelevant?

Removal of the political forum limits discussion of the single most important aspect of the shooting community AT THIS TIME. It may not always have been that way, but THR seems to me like a person who ingonres one aspect of itself until that part just goes away. Good example is one with...

How to build upper arm and hand strength?

I realize you asked about specific muscles, but if you are going to be in any competition remember that shooting is an endurance sport, not a power sport. You will be spending up to two hours or more, and that takes good cardiovascular conditioning as well as specific muscle group training.

    Garage Sale Score!

Garage sales are great. Last year I picked up 10X Lyman Junior Targetspot scope with both endcaps, and in the original 1940s cardboard box. Had to pay $20.00 tho.

Is fishing line and a rag okay for a boresnake?

Used racquet strings are better than fishline, because they are slightly larger and don't cut your finger. Also free if youknow a re-stringer. We use this method on 22s and airguns for our junior club with great results.

    Condo common areas

If it is truly a "condominium" she owns an undivided interest in the "condominium association" which in turn owns the building and common areas. The "condominium association" rules would apply to the common areas. While the interior of her unit is under her rules. IANAL, but have...

    Concealing in Business Casual?

This is similar to what I use, worn unbottoned with or without a bolo tie (won't ever tie a noose around my neck again). http://www.blair.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10001&storeId=10001&langId=-1&categoryId=100854&pcats=87768,87775,100854&productId=37882

    Concealing in Business Casual?

I purchased a lightweight leather vest (it came in my size regular or long, and I got the long) to wear on such occasions. Works great when attending the theater or other semi-dress up events too.

    How Powerful a Spotting Scope?

I have no problem seeing holes those sizes with a 14x nikon riflescope. You can go as low as 10x if you have a larger objective lens.

    best "indoor" solvent?

Lube properly = good coat of gun oil. I use Tetra. These solvents take everything out of the barrel and leave it DRY.

    best "indoor" solvent?

I have switched to Slip 2000 Carbon Killer and Bore Terch Eliminator as both are non-toxic. Good results, but you MUST be sure to lube properly afterwards.

Michigan Man Arrested for Open Carry

I wonder if, in light of Heller, which was predicated on a "civil rights" argument, and the current suit by Heller's attorneys for expenses (also based on the right to be reimbursed for"civil rights" cases), there is not going to be sufficient basis to bring suit against INDIVIDUAL police...

The bill for Heller: $3.5 million

In this discussion of costs, I think we are missiing an important point. If this case is successful, the issue of firearms ownership being a "civil right" will be set firmly in cement. Think what this means to those who would not allow legal CCW on their "private" premises. Once this is...

How Accurate Can an AR Get?

I pulled targets last week for a fellow who shot ten shots inside 7" at 600 yards.

For all the Long Range 6.5mm/.260 guru's

I think he meant "Heisenberg", as in Heisenberg Uncertainty Priciple. Tongue FAR in cheek response, similar to the old "shot group tightener" sarge sent new recruits to get.

NPR:"gun control laws are ESSENTIAL to most big law enforcement operations."

Remember, the gunfight at the OK Corral was about the "law" represented by the Earp side, wanted to disarm the "riff-raff" represented by the Clanton side. It was one of the early issues with not allowing open carry in the west. (Other underlying issues may have ben involved, but it was...
