    Bullet Stuck In Barrel?

barrel I had a friend who rapid fired an Colt OP in .38 using reloads. All six slugs (jacketed) filled the barrel front to back. The last one prevented the cylinder from turning, and the first one protuded from the barrel. He was wearing muffs, and didn't hear or feel the difference. He had to drill...

Whats this revolver and whats it worth?

S&W This looks like one I had in the '60's. After the war, there were many surplus Model 10's in .38 S&W that were cut down, nickeled, converted to 38 Special and plastic stag grips added.I don't remember which distributer sold them ,but the one I had shot fine. The .38 specials were a little...

    Checks @ gun shows?

checks? I set up at a show last year in the southwest and sold an antique gun to another dealer from an eastern state and accepted a check. It bounced and it took quite a while to track him down (thru another dealer). He sent me a MO and an apology. He apparently knew the check was not good...

    Merwin Hulbert & Co.

MH I have nine large frame and one medium frame. I also have several 1st Gen. Colt SAAs.All of the Colts have had numerous parts replaced. The MH's are all original and complete for the most part.(good thing, since replacement parts are almost impossible to find)In most cases, the markings are...

    Anyone else keep their guns?

selling I have bought and sold many guns over the past 40 years. I do a lot of reading which peaks my interest. I have little interest in modern guns, and have sold all of my semis due to arthritis in my hands.(too hard to rack 'em). Since I have limited funds and space,I can't keep them all. At...

    Arthritis and pistol shooting

pain I've had to get rid of my semi's except for the tip up Beretta since I can no longer work the slide. A .357 Trooper I bought recently has a very smooth action and I have no trouble with it. (.38's only)

Laser sights on a NAA mini relvover?

NAA Yes. the laser comes with two sets of clamps and allen wrenches to adjust the point of aim. $99 bucks isn't cheap but it adds to the fun and the WOW factor with friends.

Laser sights on a NAA mini relvover?

NAA The laser sight makes a HUGE difference. You still have to hold the gun securely, but you don't even have to bring the gun up to a normal sighting position. Just put the red dot on your target and hang on. As far as size increase ,my NAA .22 mag with laser fits in a $1 cell phone case and is...

    Mini revolver accuracy

NAA Before I got the laser,it was pretty much point and shoot. Never found the use of the sights of much value, but at a short distance,I could usually hit what I was aiming at. The laser in bright light is only visible for a few yards, but in low light,or darkness, when you couldn't see the...

    Charter vs Rossi Revolvers!

CA I've had one Rossi. Didn't like it. I've had several CA Undercovers(unshrouded) and several Bulldogs (also unshrouded). Really like them all,but always ended up giving them or selling them to friends who wanted them. Always figured I could find more. FTF sales of CA's are harder to find than...
