Hi Parker51 - I have used these loads for the past 2 years. They are very accurate. I have taken 3 deer using these rounds. Although, I have found that in compairsion to the Remmington 444 round they have less knock down power. That Remmington round is a BIG load.

I have a ROA the base pin has bent. I straighted it back out. I am concerned the steel has been compromissed. Could any one lend some advise on the issue of getting this part hardened? AKA heat treated to add strength to the metal...Thanks for any advise.
