Concealed carry 9mm for a slim person

I have the same problem as you. 5'8" and 140 lbs. I usually carry a Kahr K40 Covert, but I just went out and put money down on a Kahr P380 for this summer. I usually just wear a t-shirt and jeans as well. I would suggest waiting a little bit for the Kahr CM9 to hit the stores and take a close...

Choices on "safetey" free carry gun.

Kahr K40 for summer. CZ P-06 for fall/winter. These are the .40 cal versions, but they have 9's available in both and I like both guns for different reasons. That being said if I had my choice I would carry the CZ year round if I realistically could. The Kahr is small and I lose half of the...

    Khar K9

Just picked up my used K40 Covert over the weekend as well. What a little monster! Got a chance to put 40 or so rounds through it and clean it up. Great little pistol, ate everything I put through it, but it does have some bite to it. I definitely need to practice more with this gun to feel...

The Primers and powders are coming!

It shouldn't be like this, but it is. I want to be like Paul Revere and ride through the town yelling it:) I stopped at my dealers shop last night to see if a pistol I had ordered had come in and she immediately asked if I needed any primers or powder. I was a little confused since for quite a...

.40 Load data for 180gr lead bullets?

I loaded some Dardas 180 gr. lead up with 4.9 gr. of w231. Shot well enough, but I am noticing quite a bit of smoke with this powder. Something I should be concerned with or is it just the nature of W231? -David

    my first walther

Take a close look at your slide. If there is damage to it you really need to do the trigger bar ear modification to it. I was just going to run mine until it stopped working, but then it got to the point where I couldn't hit a thing with it unless I threw it. Found out that the two screws...

    My most "fun gun!"

Me too. Especially after dealing with Bob on a holster. Great guy to purchase deal with and a great deal. No regrets warranted. I am glad though that someone got it that is going to enjoy it as much as it deserves. Now go put some lead through it :) -David

    My most "fun gun!"

It seems that everytime I come across an ad that says something like "the most fun I've had shooting, etc..." it ends up being about a CZ. That pistol didn't happen to belong to Bob Hazel did it? If so you are lucky I was looking long and hard at purchasing that from him. CZ's are contagious...

Try hazelleather.com. Just got an IWB for my P-06. Bob does excellent work and he's not expensive at all. -David

    Looking for first carry Handgun

Are you a lefty or jst want the ability to shoot with either hand? I don't think the standard 75's are ambidextrous, but please don't take that as gospel. I would check out their site:http://czusa.net I have heard that the 2075's in .40 caliber had some issues, but that seems to be cleared up...

    Looking for first carry Handgun

Take a look at the CZ line. Absolutely rock solid. I just picked up a P-06 and am looking for a Rami for summer duty. It is a great pistol and shoots far better than I can. Price is still right even though they went up. -David

Got it down to two choices, PX4 or PCR

I say you should go for the Beretta. That will leave another PCR out there for me :) Seriously though, I have no experience with the Beretta, but the CZ is a great gun and I am sure you would be happy with it if you choose it. -David
