I bought an 1100 skeet gun new in 1965 with an extra 3" barrel. From a wear point of view the thing to look out for is corrosion on the magtube in way of the gas escape, if it gets pitted that's when the reliability suffers. Somewhere along the line I've misplaced the 3" barrel, it's annoying...
