I used to belong to the Project 2000 shooting range in El Cajon CA. it was built in the back of a rock quarry. They blasted rock every day at around 4:30 the rock crushers made quite the racket. The range had been established for years when some ding dongs with more money than sense built custom...
It's just that I have 300 rounds handloaded and neck sized for the "weatherby" Howa 1500. i also have 160 new rounds. Why would I pay the new inflated prices? The rifle seems to shoot right at 1moa regardless of the ammo I try. Then again I only tried Remington ammo. Seems to get the job done...
I ordered 1000 puled bullets and 500 reconditioned .308 cases in early Jan and I was notified that they shipped today. I'm ready, got primers and 8lbs of Varget. Surely things are looking up. I also got some Norma .308 for $18.99 a box. Cabelas had the Norma .308 and .223 rounds for a little bit...
It does not matter how you train them, there is no need to have young children having access to firearms and ammunition without adult supervision. Eventually somewhere someplace some kid will do something stupid and lives are changed forever.
Children have little brains full of mush. firearms...
Sharp Dressed Man, I think I was unclear. If lets just say NC and KS both had gun manufacturing protections for interstate sales but the two states ( and others) joined together for the purpose of trading guns that are not blessed by the fed. Just like the reciprocity agreements that many states...
I wonder if enough states pass this type of legislation if they can establish a sort of reciprocity on gun sales and trade bypassing the fed. IE creating a de facto government inside the US other than the fed. Is this sedition? Or is this the will of the people as intended by the founding...
These politicians will never get it. They can pass all the laws they want banning homemade plastic firearms. The people that they are afraid of the most (supposedly) are the terrorists. The terrorists wont give a damn about the laws, they are taking a one way trip. We can reasonably surmise by...
I had joined the RWVA for a 5 year membership last month. I came across this thread and really enjoyed the retelling of the events leading up to the beginning of the war. My 14 year old goes to a small private school and the principal is a history major. I related my experience with the RWVA and...
The Mora Black in Carbon steel is very nice though I have to admit it is my first Mora. The blade is thicker than most (all?) and has a black protective coating on the blade that will wear on the bevel after heavy stropping.
January 19th it is. I am going to send off a letter for myself and my wife to our Representative and Senators (again) and one to Walmart to stand against any deals with the President.
Snail mail letters will work even better if you have the patience to hand write that many letters, I don't.
If the occupant of the White House decides to try his Executive Powers you may not have time enough to act with a February date. I will go January 18th. If there is another date in Feb I will go to that as well.
I would not wait, or consider the Jan date as practice or you might be practicing...
