Ok. First attempt failed. He got a wooden dowel and pushed from muzzle to breach after oiling. The pointed bullet cracked the dowel and rendered it useless. He is going to try from the other end now and if that doesn't work I will try my grafite cleaning rod tonight.

A buddy of mine has a 597 and the only thing it likes to eat is stingers or any other high velocity ammo. It won't eject any of the other stuff. I'll keep my ruger 10/22. I was shooting away while he was busy cleaning and playing with the clips. Hope yours works better...

From the little I have gathered on this weapon it was introduced in 2006 to take the place of the model 332. The other guns I'm concidering are the CZ Woodcock and the Red Label both also around 1k. Any opinions on either would also be appreciated.
