G19 gets my vote

I own multiple handguns in 9mm, .45acp, 10mm, & .357 "Preferred cartridge" depends more on preferred tool used to shoot it. My top three: Glock 17 / 19 (tie, but nod to 19 for year round carry) Baer Custom Carry .45 Glock 21 .45 I'd trust my life or my families to them all.

Late to the party, but my Baer CC had a few FTRTB in the first 50 rounds and 100% reliable for the last 3k.

As quak mentioned, the R1 is 100% American made. As in all parts.

G23 makes the most sense based on your current ownership of a G27 If you want to switch calibers I'd go to a G19. I can't warm to a G30, but maybe you would like it.

Is there a waiting period?...I skimmed...little early to be calling ATF lol.. Have you tried FTF?

An OD 17 would get my vote...if you can find one.

G19, I own three and have had at least one since the early 90's. It's never failed me. Easy to conceal, accurate, nice capacity. Dang fine pistol....get one which will allow a weapon light for home defense.

My head would say XDM, but my heart would suggest the SA Mil Spec. You won't have any trouble shooting either caliber accurately.

I've got one AR, one unfired python, and one unfired O1918.....the rest get shot. As an earlier posted staed, most will not lose value over time.

I use Wilson grease on the rails of my 1911's when they are detail stripped.

Put two short Harrisons in last week. Only way to go.
