    Armed Homeless Traveler...

He has been doing this since he left home at 17, I met him at a train station last year and we sat together in one of the cars. He doesn't have a highschool education nor does he have the will to settle down with a minimum wage job for the rest of his life. He is a traveller, not unlike a harley...

    Armed Homeless Traveler...

I have a young friend(20 years old) who has been traveling this country for years. He came to visit me a saturday and told me a story of how he was mugged a few weeks ago and has bought a small 25 caliber pistol for protection... But the man travels from state to state, he carries the gun...

    makeshift gun cleaning

Cleaning supplies? HA! I use bits of papertowel for patches, and Q-tips for standard cleaning... Ballistol(CLP) and dish washing soap and water, that's all. If I dont have cleaning rod with me, I make a bore snake by rolling strips of paper towel down the barrel. Works great.

    Shipping a gun to yourself?

They are having an active discussion of it here... and from what I have read... It is the carrier's rules that require you to state that you are shipping a handgun, Not federal law, so it would not be illegal... Then again, i'm not entirely sure. Nope, that would not work, the reciever with...

    Shipping a gun to yourself?

Well, I have heard you can easily ship a gun to another state without going through a firearms dealer as long as you will be the only person who opens the package... Hmm, this is extremely interesting, its sounds almost too easy to ship a gun to an individual without getting caught. How can...

WW II .25 auto identification and Parts???

My... god... Why the hell can't this type of stuff happen to me!? :banghead: I can't believe you bought a beautiful gun like that for a dollar. How about selling it to me, ask your friend how much he wants for it and send me a private message. :D... I'm serious. I am also curious to know...

It finally happened to me, the "I have a gun I don't want" gift!!!

That is one HELL of a gun... Think I might get me one of them for myself one of these days. Goalie, you're one lucky guy. Wish I had a co-worker that would give me a $400 gun.

    Picked up a little bug.

Same boat as the raven... but the raven isn't necessarily a bad gun, own one myself. Your gun can be considered a 'Saturday Night Special', but as long as it shoots fine and you like it then it was a good buy, keep the thing clean and it will perform well. $30 was a heck of a good deal.

It finally happened to me, the "I have a gun I don't want" gift!!!

You ungrateful bastards make me sick :D 'Oh, no! Someone, out of the goodness of their heart, has offered to give me her dead husbands old handgun that he probably loved and meticulously cared for until the end of his days, woe is me, think i'll sell it... I hope it's not something cheap.'...

Am I the ONLY one on the Forum thats in love with the .32 S&W Long?

... Well? :D I have cleaned the thing twice and it's still dirty as hell... right now it's soaking in a bath of ballistol down in the garage, I'll leave it there a few days and see if it doesn't loosen the dirt, the bore and cylinder are in great condition, rifling is sharp, but it still has...
