problems i have found i now have four 39As ... one i bought, if you check back on previous post, to refresh over the winter .. it had a broken firing pin, verry poor blueing, and a missing inner feed tube .. after all repairs and cost i have $229 in it (1955 mfg date) ...it is a 20" carbine...

loose hammer screw have been shooting the 39a with the peep sight alot .. all of a sudden there are more and more FTF ... checked out the firing pin and all seems well there, BUT just by chance i saw the hammer screw was loose ...... could tighten it about half a turn ... now after maybe...

mm6mm6 mm6mm6 .... nice set of guns .... my wife enjoys shooting my guns but she thinks 5 lever actions 2 single sixs revolvers a ruger 45lc and an uberti outlaw are more than she can hold a one time ... i don't understand that kind of thinking and i guess you don't either ....hehehhe ....

my winter project gun well, got the new firing pin from Brownell's after a little fitting she fires every time .... then of course i had to refinish the metal parts, cause they were really rough ... just 4 hours with a Birchwood Casy kit ($11) and all parts are hanging waiting for reassembly...

just checked the pixs size and they are all too big... have to reduce them before i can post them .... oh and btw, while these are my first 39's i have shot a 336 (30-30) for years (that was my moms gun for hunting) ....
