follow up on trigger
I just saw this old threat from July, so this is probably too late, but might be of use to others with late model FN-made mode 70s.
You can get a replacement spring for the MOA trigger from
http://www.erniethegunsmith.com, which also has instructions on disassembly...
If you are cross dominant, then probably best to shoot with whichever hand matches the dominant eye. It's generally easier to train the weak hand than the weak eye, though with enough practice you can do either. My kid's cross dominant and shoots left.

This could be waay off the mark, but it occurred to me:
You need to make sure that you aren't cross dominant -- that is, right handed and left eyed. It'll cause you to hold the revolver with a crook in your right wrist to accommodate lining up sights with left eye...
I think you have to keep them both; the Python is a great investment, but the 27 is more practical. I don't have a chronograph but I noticed on the Buffalo Bore website where they report chrono results for their ammo with various revolvers that the velocities were quite a it better from a 4"...
Has anyone out there chronographed the Speer short barrel 135 gr 38+P or .357 and compared it to the 125 grain +P from Speer or other makers? I'm trying to figure out which is better from that barrel length and don't own a chronograph. Looking for the best energy I can get with reasonable...
