    M&p 340

Here are a couple of pictures of what I'm talking about, the finish on the cylinder get screwed up when the metal piece inside the top of the frame came out and wedged itself between the frame and cylinder. Underheath the barrel where the extractor fits into was also damaged during the...

I got my 340 back yesterday from the malfunction, they replaced the frame and that's it. I am kinda disappointed because there are some scuffs and scratches/gouges from when it malfunctioned that they did nothing about. I called them today and they said to send it back to them again and they...

I'm going to call them on Monday to see what they found and what they are going to do. I can't wait to have a 340 back again.

I was going to try to get one with the CT grip, doubt that will happen though. I will definitely be taking the next one to the range asap to make sure it doesn't happen again.

I have contacted S&W, they are having me send the gun back to them. I was pretty upset considering it was basically a new gun and had only put 60 rounds through it, but as long as it gets taken care of I don't mind. I'm glad that nobody got hurt out of it also.

I bought my M&P 340 in August of 2008 and I finally got arount to shooting it for the first time yesterday, I was not impressed. I put exactly 60 rounds through it total. I started with .38 specials, then moved up to .38+P's, and I got to put a total of 5 rounds of .357 before it blew apart. On...

Angel1216, that wood grip looks pretty good on there, who makes it and where can I get one?

Has anyone used Hornady Leverevolution 140 grain FTX .357? I bought some as a defensive round thinking it would expand better than regular hollow points given this is a snubbie. I'm sure it will be hard on the hand, but I used to have a S&W 500 short barrel that I liked to shoot one handed, lol.
