I don't comment on personal taste, people can say what they want about the grip. I comment when I feel that false misleading statements are being made. Call it ugly all you want, personal taste is subjective, but when things are said that misrepresent the facts, then I feel a response is...

So now whose opinion should we take? The person that actually owns one and has handled one or the person who has never seen one let alone gripped or used one? Hhhmmm, blows my mind sometimes how people can make false or misrepresented statements based on something they have never seen or felt...

Hi Rusty These grips are made using the same material as many well known firearms, and they don't seem to crack. We have tested these and 1911 manufacturers have tested these as well. Here is a video going through 130 rounds in 2 minutes, the gun was smoking hot with 0 cracks in the frame...

Thanks for understanding. We are not going after the new gun market, there are countless millions on the market and that is our market.

Grips by Recover Tactical for 1911

Re the plunger support - we spoke to some manufacturers and gun smiths and we felt that the plunger support is a feature that is not required if your plunger is properly staked (which it should be at all times).
