    powder for 45lc

    I just bought a ruger new vaquero this week and will be buying some dies to start reloading for it soon. I am looking for a moderate load not anything too hot. What would be the best powder between 231 unique or trailboss with 250 or 255 lead rounds.

    The scale is the only thing that you will want to change but that is a quick fix. You can find a nice one from midway for a reasonable price. I have had mine for almost a year and around 3000 rounds later not one complaint. You will love it.

    RCBS 1010 vs 505

    Thanks for the reply. I would never use that much capcity the1010 just seems a little better built I just didnt know if it was worth the extra price.
