That is sweet! I have a 550 .308 Varmint with a heavy barrel and it is a great shooter even with factory ammo.

Not sure about that particular one but we use night vision here in TX for pigs and varmints a lot. It is a blast and gives a whole new twist to predator calling.

I have to agree with Redneck's post. I have a 527 American in 204 and it shoots great. It is one of my favorite rifles among ones that are far more expensive. I would not hesitate to buy one in .223 especially with 1:9 twist.

Go for the Mini 14. The new ones shoot just as well as an average AR. I have proof of this. Take all the Mini bashing with a grain of salt.
