    Glock 42 problems

A few months ago I took my 15 yr old daughter to the range for the first time. She has only shot BB gun rifles and pistols. Long story short. She shot my Ruger MK2 22lr pistol first. No jams. Then she shot my Glock 17 with no jams. Then she shot my Kahr K9, no jams. Then her first shot with...

    i thought i wanted a .308.

I like my 270 My 30-06 is my medium / long range deer and bear gun. I buy heavier weight bullets, either 180gr or 220gr and feel confident out to maybe 200 yards on any bear or deer in PA My 270 with the lighter loads is a great long range varmint / deer round. I buy the lighter rounds in...

    Concealed carry revolver.

pokersamuria nailed it If you have $500 to spend don't even think about Taurus or Rossi...You are in used S&W and Ruger territory now. My favorite S&Ws are the K frames. (model 19,65,66s) My favorite Rugers are the security sixes. Do your homework and you'll find out those are some of the best...

My 2cents worth My smallest mouse gun for self defense is a Kel Tek P3AT. Its not that much larger or heavier than the NAA revolvers. It also reloads much, much quicker. Many, many moons ago I read a magazine article about ways to practice at the range. One article that always applies to...

    Next Handgun-recommendations please

    Missing a 9 mil and a 22 ( In my opinion) A good 22 or a 9 milimeter.. With small hands I'd recommend a Ruger semi-auto 22 Mk 11 or 2245....OR----A single action 22/22mag For small hands with a 9 milimeter I'd recommend a single stack made by Sig..(P6,225,239) or Kahr (T-9 K-9) or a 1911...
