Baikal made quite a few Mak pistols chambered in .380 instead of 9x18. All parts except the barrel are interchangeable between the .380 and 9x18 models.
Powder can often keep for many decades, but there's no guarantee. I've run into unopened containers from the '70s and '80s where it was obvious after opening that the powder had gone bad (grains coming apart into dust, bad smell, etc.)
