I don’t suggest either of those 2 choices. I like Unique or Universal Clays the best. W231 will also work. All 3 have lots of load data available also.
Unique will work but there are better choices- I like Ramshot Silhouette, WSF, CFE Pistol, or BE-86. The “glock bulge” only came from early Gen 2 models I believe. I’m sure someone else who knows much more will confirm this to be true or not. Good luck
I have a Gen 3 model 23 and 2 Gen 3 model 22’s. All I shoot thru them is reloads. I have shot lead bullets, coated Bullets, and many plated and copper jacketed thru my stock barrels without any issues at all. I’ve shot at least 20K Rounds over the last 10 yrs. Just follow good loading...
Sorry for the delay MMB617 - been helping my mom get thru a surgery. I shoot that 5.4 gr CFE-P load thru my Sig 226 and my Glock’s (17 & 19). Runs flawlessly. Now in my CZ-75 SP-01 I have to load to 1.1 with fmj’s to get same feeding results.
Why are you loading so short? What type of gun? I have those bullets and run them at 1.125” with 5.4 grs CFE pistol and they run perfectly and group tight. Brass is assorted range pickups and std SP primers.
I bought a 8 lb jug and used it in only 223 and 308. It works well in both but I found better accuracy for less $ with Tac and CFE 223 with 150 gr fmjbt in my Fal’s. In my 3 bolt guns I have several great sub-moa loads with IMR 4064, IMR 4895, and Varget in all of them. Not that much luck...
I agree the Midway seconds are Hornady and they are only cosmetic in my experience. I bought 2000+ last time they were available and got a bunch of .311 150 grs for my nagants and enfields. Even scored some 168 Bthp match. Buy and shoot them w/o worry
I’ve been reloading 9mm for over a decade. You have many more options in bullet choice then you can buy and I’m never out of ammo. My cost is around 7-8 cents per bullet. 3 cents per primer and 1400 rds per pound of powder. It’s cheap, accurate, and always have ammo to shoot. Maybe $8 box my...
I’ve bought and tried so far tactical rifle in 5.56 loads, precision rifle in 308, and major pistol in 40 sw. They all worked for me and I’m pleased with the clean burn and price. I’ll be buying more for sure.
