    What`s the Real Difference?

That brings up a question. How does a fixed vs variable power scope affect the quality/price tradeoff? When I was into 35mm photography, fixed focal length lenses in F/2.8 aperature were inexpensive and had very high optical quality. An F/2.8 zoom telephoto, though... be prepared to sell...

The new CZ P-01's are SWEET!

Gorgeous photo Tailgunner45, That is a superlative photo! Any technical details? It looks like one light at the low 2 o'clock position, and another at the high 11 o'clock? Strobe or tungsten? I'll never be Ichiro Nagata, but I'd love my photos to look as good as that. Sorry for the...

    Square deal B - Feedback?

In the interest of fairness, I should point out that to make an apples-to-apples price comparison between the SDB and the Lee Classic Turret, you would have to add the price of the automatic powder measure and auto primer feed to the Lee, about $60.

    Can anyone identify this part?

Kudos to you, jaybar. The safety doesn't click now. However, the A02511 part is shown only on the 22/45 diagram. The standard Mark II, like I have doesn't show a corresponding part. I suppose it will be clearer when I get it apart again. Of course, if the pin is out, that probably means the...

    Can anyone identify this part?

I did a cleaning session Saturday, including a Finnish Model 39, a Swiss K-31, and a Ruger Mark II. After the guns were cleaned and put away, I found this very small part on the floor. On the rifles, I only pulled the bolt. The Ruger, though, was detail stripped (and what a joy that was!) So...
