I have a new production 586 with the internal lock.After loading it ,the hammer won't cock and the cylinder won't open.Does any one have an idea what would be binding? Thanks in advance rj

I don't know about the 38/357 ,but it does in the 45 long colt

I was thinking a 4'' 500 at that price could be fun,But then I did a little math and even reloading lead your initial cost is over $1 a round. Of course when you reuse the brass your cost drops to .60 .Compared to the smaller big bores [44,45]at about $7 for a box of 50 it still gets expensive...
