I have the new S&W shield pistol I now need a holster and mags.

I'm making Shield holsters now! Send me an email at [email protected] to discuss. Comes standard with metal clips and I can add kydex j-hooks or velcro clips for an additional $7. I've carried the Shield for about 2 weeks now and really like this pistol. I've posted a poor...

    The 336 Club

Marlin 336Y with XS Lever Scout I just picked this gun up... sort of. I bought it in October and took it out to sight it in with iron sights. I couldn't get a round in the chamber. I took it back to the store and had them send it back to Marlin. Eight weeks later it is back despite a couple...

Rossi Matched Pair .22LR + 20ga - Part IV: Buttplate quick release. Ideas?

Duct Tape Is the perfect solution. I've played around with my Rossi Matched Pairs for a while and that is what I've come up with. I used a bright orange cloth tape. Two pieces across the butt plate and then I wrapped the end of the butt to secure these. I folded over a small section on...

    The Marlin 39 Club

I have a 64 Model 39. I've fired CCI Standard Velocity and CCI Shorts in it as fast as I could throw the lever. Absolutely no problems! This is one of the smoothest actions ever! It is a Mountie and I love it. R

Ones size fits all utility rifle

I second the lever action carbine. I have a Marlin 1894 CSS in .357 and love it. I added Skinner Peep Sights to it and it is a blast to shoot. No recoil, very accurate and with a heavy .357 it is powerful enough to handle anything I might come in contact with. I paid $675 for it and...

    Finally ... got me a Marlin 1894CSS (.357 Magnum)!!

I decided to go with the Saddle Ring Safety Delete from BearToothMercantile for the 1894 CSS in .357. I am thinking about rigging a one point sling to it similar to the type used on the M4. I went with the ringless safety delete for my recently acquired Model 336 in .35 Remington. I will...

    Finally ... got me a Marlin 1894CSS (.357 Magnum)!!

I just bought an 1894 CSS for $679 Neat rifle! I read about it. Wanted one and happened to stumble across one in my local gun store!!! I walked out the door with it. I shot it today. I added a Skinner Peep Sight and it is a keeper! I'd like to remove the safety and maybe add a saddle...

    The 336 Club

I shot the 35 today! Seven shots at 30 yards... iron sights... they all touched! I have a new favorite rifle! This is a sweet shooter! I will look at reloading for this rifle. The Remington 200's are $1 + a shot. I love this rifle but at this price I will shoot my 1894 in .357 a lot...

    The 336 Club

336 in 35 Remmington Came home with me today. I haven't fired a lever action in decades but I wanted a short carbine for Alabama brush. I was led to believe that the 35 has a little more thump than the 30-30. I'm determined to be a one shot one kill type hunter! I will probably put an...

    SP101 Picture Thread

Here's mine. A Jack Wiegand Tame the Beast package. I added an XS Big Dot Sight and Hogue Monogrips. It shoots like a dream! Fires magnum loads with absolutely no problem. I carry it in a kydex/leather hybrid holster of my own making.

    best .357 snub.

I've carried a ported SP101 2.25 for about a month now and love it. It is the "Tame the Beast" model from Jack Weigand Customs. It is a sweet gun. I sold a Smith 65 years ago and regretted it until I got the 101. I just took it to the range and shot 125 magnum loads through it with...

    Bead blasted SP101

A little holster wear on a gun... is like belt buckle scratches on the back of a good guitar. It is honest wear. I like my guns to look like they've been used and used well. I have no use for safe queens. I'm the same way with knives. I carried a Randall Made Knife for the majority of...

    Custom Snubnose Revisited

I've got a Custom SP101 Done by Jack Weigand. Ported, action job and bobbed hammer. It is my new American Express gun. I don't leave home without it.

Favorite Grips for your GP100 or SP101?

+1 on the Hogues. The thing that I really like about the Hogues is how the fill in the space behind the trigger guard. They help tame recoil and I have ZERO problem concealing a 2.25 SP.

    Aiweight .22 S&W Revolvers

A buddy of mine lent me his for a day. It was a 3" Hi Viz model. I put a 3X5 card at 50 feet and hit it 5 out of 8 times double action. If he would have sold it to me I would have bought it on the spot. This would be a PERFECT woods Kit Gun in my opinion. 8 shots, totally reliable...
