O K I will come back with cake on my face... I visited with him again and he now said 22-250 but I heard 22-270 3 times so. I thank all that had a reply both good and ??? I guess I will have to work more on shooting my 22-250 again... I did learn some things from this...

I dont see him as a mall ninga and he is no blow hard and was a sniper, has money and can replace barrels often. I didnt say he used it as a sniper, I think he said a 308. He just shoots for fun and this is fun to him. I dont know what his inspiration was, but I do intend to visit him about it...

Thanks .. No, I shoot 22-250 a lot and load a few of them.. Will check with him again. I think it is a 270 down to 22 dont know what it started as . I think some snipers like stuff like this.. now he is shooting at 600 yds. working on 1000 yds. Will get back to this after I visit with him...

I am looking for info on a 22-270 , Is anyone familure with this .. It may be a sniper round . My question comes from a visit with a friend that use to be a sniper, and loads and shoot this now.. thanks for any info.....
