Kahr's mags and followers have always been there weakest link. Love there older pistols for overall quality but there mags suck. I carried an older circa 2009 PM9 for a few years with great results, but when I decided to sell it and move on to a new pistol I went with a different brand because...
I have a 20 Ga Mossberg Cruiser with #3 Buck protecting my home 24/7 for over 16 years. Never once thought it wouldn't get the job done. I shoot it about every 6 months or so as to keep the ammo fresh. Still shoots as good as the day I purchased it with very little maintenance.
I've got a 1941 MN 91/30 (Izzy). It's been refurbished, and counter bored and re crowned, and I refinished the laminate stock because the finish was flaking off. It's been a fine shooting rifle and worth every bit the $110 I paid for it. I think when it comes to MN's you have to judge each one...
Going to have to agree the Po-1 for all three. It is without question the best 9mm pistol I've ever shot in the $500 /$600 price range.
I know that might sound like I'm a fan boy, but in reality I have a few different brand name pistols that I own and like, I have traded my share of pistols in...
XDS is just about 1inch thick where the Glock 26 is just short of 1-1/4 inches thick at it's widest point. Might not sound like much till you strap it on inside the waistband. That is where you notice the difference. I own both and like the G26 better than any Glock, but I love that XDS9 for...
Shot a Walther PPS9 Shield, Traded a kahr Pm9 for the XDS9. The XDs9 is my favorite, with the Kahr coming in second. #3 Walther PPs9 and then the Shield. All good guns just a matter of preference I suppose. I'm chomping at the bit waiting for the XDS to come back. I really like that pistol.
I have a Tel Tec P3at and it does a pretty good job for what it was intended to do. However if I was to step up to a 9mm in the size of the PF9 I'd say go with the Kahr CM9. It's a higher quality pistol with a lower bore axis, much smoother trigger that makes for a more enjoyable pistol to shoot.
I've never really been a Glock guy. However through the years I've always heard about the G26 being a very reliable 9mm Glock that many Glock owners carried. One day A friend of mine asked if I wanted to buy his Gen 3 G26 with only ten rounds through it for $350. After looking at the pistol one...

I have shot and own one,and yes I do understand the desire to have these rifles returned to the U.S. The thought of these rifles falling into the wrong hands is utter nonsense. The Gangsta's would not have a clue what to do with them.
I clean my 10/22 an 22/45 after every range visit even if it just means running a bore snake down the barrel. Shooting them extremely dirty I believe puts to much unnecessary strain on recoil springs, extractors, firing pins and the like. That and really what does it prove? Certainly not...
