As others have said this would make for a good documentary series, and remember the video and pictures don't have to be fancy, just clear.
Since this is going to be the scope you use until you get the scope you want, I would go with the SWFA 20x fixed. Even my blind eyes can see .22 caliber holes at 100 yards with a 20 power. Also $300.00 for them is not a bad price ether.
I don't mind doing the prep work on my .308 brass, but I just buy the fully prepped brass from Top Brass for my PTR. With only about a 30% recovery, I would rather spend the money, and concentrate my time on brass for other rifles.

Based on personal experience from the last couple of years these would be my top picks.
Remington model 700 Long Range. Tolerances loser than my ex.
Mossberg MVP less accurate than a Molson Nagant, but a lot more expansive, with lower quility control.
